Join the Weinert Center for Entrepreneurship to meet Brian Durst, Chairman & Chief Executive Officer of Tribe 9 Foods. Tribe 9 is a manufacturer of fresh traditional, gluten-free and grain-free pasta; organic and natural nut butters; bars; and cookies. The company markets its own products under the Taste Republic, RP’s Pasta, and Yumbutter brands, as well as making food for other brands, retailers, and foodservice applications.

Brian held previous roles in private equity, venture capital, corporate development, and public market investing working for Blue Clay Capital, Quad/Graphics, Stark Investments, Wind Point Partners, and Goldman Sachs. Brian received his MBA from Harvard Business School and BBA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a triple major in Finance, Accounting, and Real Estate.

The UW-Madison Weinert Center for Entrepreneurship offers a weekly Distinguished Entrepreneurs Lunch program where local experts on entrepreneurship tell their unique stories and share their expertise and knowledge. This casual, fun and informal environment provides an opportunity to get advice and ask questions. The sessions occur over the lunch hour on Wednesdays from 12:15-1:00 p.m. in room 5110 Grainger Hall except where noted. Please consider joining us for all or some of their sessions!
