Join the Weinert Center for Entrepreneurship to hear Sarah Smith tell her story of how she went from a career as an elementary music teacher to founder and managing partner of her own venture fund. She landed in the Bay Area in 2001 and has gained decades of company building experience from places like Meta/Facebook, Quora, Bain Capital Ventures, Graph Ventures, BCG, and Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business.

The UW-Madison Weinert Center for Entrepreneurship offers a weekly Distinguished Entrepreneurs Lunch program where local experts on entrepreneurship tell their unique stories and share their expertise and knowledge. This casual, fun and informal environment provides an opportunity to get advice and ask questions. The sessions occur over the lunch hour on Wednesdays from 12:15-1:00 p.m. in room 5110 Grainger Hall except where noted. Please consider joining us for all or some of their sessions!
