Every founder has an idea. Far fewer have a problem, and that gap is usually the difference between a business and a very expensive hobby.

In this workshop, we'll start with the idea you're already in love with (we all have one) and ask the question that matters more: is anyone actually losing sleep, time, or money over this? You'll learn how to recognize a problem worth solving: one that's frequent, painful, and already costing someone something. We'll also look at why the tedious, unglamorous problems everyone else avoids are often where the best opportunities are hiding.

We'll also make room for the big ones. Housing, childcare, climate: the wicked problems. They're real, they matter, and no single founder is going to solve them alone. Wicked problems take coalitions of government, nonprofits, funders, and businesses, each working on a different piece at the same time. That doesn't put them off-limits.…
