Curb cuts were built for people who use wheelchairs, and now everyone with a stroller, a suitcase, or a bike uses them too. Websites work the same way. Captions help anyone watching a video in a noisy coffee shop, strong contrast helps anyone reading a phone in the sun, and a site that works with a keyboard helps anyone whose mouse just died.

Nobody gets this perfect. We're all in this together, and the goal is for each of us to do our part and do our best.

I'll show three checks anyone can run on their own website: an automated scan with axe DevTools, a keyboard-only test (the mouse goes across the room), and a screen reader. What you fix depends on what you find, so you'll leave knowing where your website stands and where to start.
