Announcing the Summit Credit Union Fellowship for Women Entrepreneurs



StartingBlock, Madison's premier hub for startups and innovation, is proud to announce a partnership with Summit Credit Union, one of the leading financial institutions in Wisconsin.


This collaboration introduces the "Summit Credit Union Fellowship for Women Entrepreneurs," an initiative designed to support, empower, and catalyze the growth of women entrepreneurs in the region.


We are thrilled to join hands with Summit Credit Union in this endeavor. The fellowship signifies our commitment to fostering inclusivity and diversity in the entrepreneurial ecosystem. By providing essential resources and mentorship to women entrepreneurs, we aim to level the playing field and drive meaningful change.

The Summit Credit Union Fellowship for Women Entrepreneurs will offer 4 exceptional female entrepreneurs:


1. Mentorship: Fellows will be paired with seasoned entrepreneurs and industry leaders, gaining invaluable insights and guidance.

2. Workspace: Access to StartingBlock Madison's state-of-the-art co-working space and its network of innovative startups.

3. Workshops and Training: Tailored workshops focusing on essential business skills, from pitching to financial planning.


We believe when women build financial security for themselves, everyone wins. This fellowship helps women entrepreneurs build that security with support and tools to start and grow a successful business. It aligns to our purpose by helping women build wealth and make good financial decisions.

Applications for the fellowship will open on September 8, 2023 and close on October 8, 2023. A panel comprising industry leaders, StartingBlock representatives, and Summit Credit Union executives will evaluate the applicants based on their business idea's viability, potential impact, and alignment with the fellowship's goals.

Applicants should reside in South Central Wisconsin and be able to attend in person programming at StartingBlock.
